NTPC Korba bags multiple awards at PRCI Conclave 2022

New Delhi: NTPC Korba has been awarded multiple awards at the 16th Global Communication Conclave hosted by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) under the 12th PRCI Excellence Awards 2022.

Korba Super Thermal Power Station has bagged two Gold Awards and 3 Silver Awards. The Gold Awards are for Corporate Films made on the best environment-friendly practices at NTPC Korba and for publishing an e-magazine journal in the Hindi language.

The silver awards have been given for publicity of the CSR Campaign - Girl Empowerment Mission 2022 held at NTPC Korba, for the Public Service Announcement campaign on vigilance awareness and for the Community Impact Campaign - for publicity of various initiatives under CSR.

These awards and accolades and accolades, presented by the Public Relations Council of India, are an effort towards recognizing and acknowledging those organizations which have given stellar performance and elevated professional standards in the field of Public Relations, Creative Communication, Content generation, Corporate Social Responsibility and Stakeholder Management.
Expressing gaiety and elation on the occasion, Shri P M Jena, CGM, NTPC Korba expressed his hearty congratulations to team Korba and said that "The field of Public Relations is very important in stakeholder relationship and reputation management, especially for a reputed project like NTPC Korba.

It is pertinent that we keep making such efforts in the area of communications to ensure a well round holistic relationship with the internal and external public. I express my hearty congratulations to the employees. These awards by Public Relations Council of India along with the recently awarded prestigious 'Productivity Award bear testimony to the organizational excellence of NTPC Korba".

Shri Prabhat Ram, Head of Human Resources, NTPC Korba congratulated team HR and said that "I express my best wishes to team Korba. Team HR has been performing their best all year, and this recognition is the testimony of the same". 

NTPC Limited, overall, at Corporate Level, has also bagged the title of 'Champion of Champions' for receiving the highest number of awards at the conclave.

These awards, conferred to NTPC Korba were accorded by Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Managing Director (Tata Steel) and Shri S Kamath, Chairman, Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) and were received by Ms. Himani Sharma, Executive, Corporate Communication, NTPC Korba at the 16th Global Communication Conclave held in Kolkata on 11th and 12th of November 2022. 

Honorary President and Chief Patron of PRCI Shri MB Jayaram and other senior members of PRCI were also present in the program.
