NTPC Korba reaffirms commitment to empowering rural youth through skill development programs
NEW DELHI- Under its Corporate Social Responsibility, NTPC Korba, through CIPET, has provided training on "Machine Operator Assistant-Injection Moulding" skill development. The training has been provided to the rural youth, for 03 month for skill development and providing employment to the underprivileged youths/girls of the project affected and surrounding villages.
In the training, 40 young men / women from the project-affected and surrounding villages successfully received training. After training, all the trainees have been placed in a plastic company in Bangalore.

On completion of training at CIPET Korba center on 05.04.2023, for the distribution of course completion certificate and placement offer letter to the successful trainees, a closing ceremony was organized.
B Ramachandra Rao, Project Head, NTPC Korba graced the occasion, who gave certificates and placement offer letters to the trainees.

Rao said “NTPC Korba in association with CIPET is providing employment opportunities to the youth of nearby areas by training them. This is the second batch of the program 'Machine Operator Assistant - Injection Moulding'. The earlier batch also got 100% placement. The training programs conducted under the Corporate Social Responsibility of NTPC Korba are beneficial for the trainees.
I hope that more and more youth will take advantage of these opportunities and move ahead in their lives. My best wishes to all the trainees”.
