A talent search camp is being organized by NTPC Korba CSR to promote archery under corporate social responsibility. For the archery talent search, this camp will be organized in four different areas of the Korba district for one week each.

NEW DELHI- A talent search camp is being organized by NTPC Korba CSR to promote archery under corporate social responsibility. For the archery talent search, this camp will be organized in four different areas of the Korba district for one week each.

The first camp was organized from 15.12.2022 to 21.12.2022 at Gau Mukhi Sevadham of remote Vananchal village Devpahari, were about 100 boys and girls of the secondary and high school participated and received guidance to improve their skills in this ancient form of sports.

In the said archery camp, Mr Bharat Yadav, national gold medalist of archery and awarded with a national award, provided his guidance by informing about the nuances of the game.

On the closing occasion of the camp on 21.12.2022, the outstanding performing players were awarded medals. On this occasion, Mr PM Jena, Chief General Manager, of NTPC Korba said that "NTPC Korba aims to develop the skills and talents of the youth under corporate social responsibility. Through this talent search camp, we are trying to empower talented outstanding sportspersons." We hope that more and more players can participate in this camp and take advantage of it. NTPC Limited has also partnered with the Archery Association of India on a corporate level to promote Archery. Korba's initiative to encourage Archery in the district is a worthwhile initiative."

In the closing ceremony, Virendra Kumar Deshmukh, Rajendra Kumar Jogi from CSR NTPC Korba, Dr Devashish of Gau Mukhi Sevdham Prakalp, school teachers, villagers and parents were present.
