The JVA was signed by Managing Director, AGCL & ED (PLS) OIL in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa.

OIL and AGCL to form new JV Company; signs agreement

New Delhi: Oil India Limited on April 29, 2023, signed Joint Venture Agreement with Assam Gas Company Limited to form a JV Company. 

Talking about the share take, 51% will be on AGCL's hand & 49% is OIL’s share, with a mandate to build local Natural Gas Grids, Setup & run CNG Stations & provide Domestic & Commercial Piped Natural Gas connections in 6 districts each of Assam & Tripura.

The JVA was signed by Managing Director, AGCL & ED (PLS) OIL in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa, Hon’ble Minister, GoA, Sh Bimal Borah, Sh Jayanta Malla, Dr Ranjit Rath, CMD OIL, Sh Bolin Chetia, Chairman-AGCL, Sh BJ Phukan, MD-NRL & sr officials of GoA, OIL & AGCL.
