India is Now 5G: PM Modi launches 5G services at Mobile Congress
Prime Minister also interacted with a school girl who expressed her virtual reality experience while studying and also shares the benefits of 5G.

Narendra Modi launched 5G services at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) at New Delhi's Pragati Maidan.
New Delhi: Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on Saturday, October 1, 2022, launched India's new phase in technology, 5G services at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) at New Delhi's Pragati Maidan.
It is mentioned that the services have been rolled out for the thirteen cities in their first phase and will be introduced across the country in the next two years.
In this 4 day event, today's launch was for the four metros: Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. The thirteen cities list includes Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune.
Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Ltd, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Founder of Bharti Airtel, and Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of Vodafone Idea addressed the gathering.
