D(P) laying the foundation stone at DAVC public school
Andhra Pradesh: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has extended financial support of Rs 91 lakhs under Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) for improving infrastructure at some the Schools viz. DAV School, Ukkunagaram, Visakha Vimala Vidyalaya, Ukkunagaram & Visakha Vimala Vidyalaya BC Road. The proposed infrastructure will be constructed by AP Samagra Siksha Abhiyan. Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Sri Kishore Chandra Das, Director (Personnel), RINL laid the foundation stone for the infrastructure at the above three Schools. 30th Novemeber 2020.
Solar power Supply
As part of its initiative to encourage renewable energy resources, RINL provided funds of Rs. 11.97 Lakhs from CER budget for the installation of 25KWp capacity solar power systems to be installed through New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) at Visakha Vimala Vidyalaya School BC Road.
Sri Kishore Chandra Das, Director (Personnel), RINL inaugurated the solar power project at Visakha Vimala Vidyalaya BC Road on 30th Novemeber 2020.
In his address, Sri K C Das emphasized the role of teachers in improving discipline among students inside and outside the school. He also advised the schools to maintain the infrastructure that is planned to be provided to them, properly and also called for collaboration among the schools in Ukkunagaram and to adopt best practices, so as to thrive in the present conditions.

Satyam, GM(CSR), RINL and Chairman-LMC, DAV school, Sri M Madhusudhana Rao, GM(Medical Admn), RINL & Chairman-LMC VVV School, other senior officials, Staff and Principals of DAV school Ukkunagaram & VVV school, Ukkunagaram participated in the functions.
