RVNL assigns Rs. 436.73 crore contract for Indore-Budni railway line construction
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has awarded a significant contract worth INR 436.73 crore to D.P. Jain & Co. Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. for the construction of a new 57.4 km railway line between Mangliyagaon and Kheri in Madhya Pradesh. The project aims to enhance passenger and freight connectivity, reducing travel distance and fostering development.
The scope of the work includes the Construction of roadbeds, minor bridges, and station buildings, Installation of tracks, excluding the supply of rails, sleepers, and thick web switches, Passenger amenities, platform works, and general electrical installations, Execution over a 57.4 km stretch, excluding a tunnel (Ch. 33.160-34.400) and viaduct (Ch. 2.705-5.110) and Site facility provisions, cement, and reinforcement supply.
