Railway News: RVNL bags order of Rs 739 crore for development of Himachal Pradesh central zone
The cost of the project is said to be Rs 739 crore and the project is supposed to be completed in the next 24 months.
The Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd shares surged by 1.32% after the railway PSU emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a project in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
In an exchange filing, RVNL said that it has emerged as L1 for development of distribution infrastructure at the central zone of Himachal Pradesh under the revamped Reforms-based and Results-linked, Distribution sector scheme.
The cost of the project is said to be Rs 739 crore and the project is supposed to be completed in the next 24 months.
In addition, the company has also informed the exchanges that it will hold its board meeting on August 8 to consider quarterly results for the April-June period.
