S K Singh took over as Director-Technical (Planning & Projects) of BCCL
Mr. Singh will be in charge of managing the operation of mines and also for field activities, technical functions, and safety of mines.
New Delhi: Shri. Sanjay Kumar Singh has taken over the Director - Technical (Planning & Projects) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited. Prior to his appointment as DT (P&P), BCCL, Shri. Singh was working as General Manager (Mining) in Central Coalfields Ltd., Ranchi.
Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) in Oct 2021 selected Sanjay Kumar Singh for the post of Director (Technical), Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL). As a member of BCCL's board of Directors, he will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD).

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) is a Public Sector Undertaking engaged in mining of coal and allied activities, occupies an important place in as much as it produces bulk of the coking coal mined in the country. BCCL meets almost 50% of the total prime coking coal requirement of the integrated steel sector.
Currently, the Company operates 36 coal mines which include 11 underground, 16 opencast & 09 mixed mines as on 01.04.2020. The Company also runs 8 coal washeries & 4 are under construction.
