Director of Technical Operations Shri S K Pal visited in five mines, have an extensive inspection of the Chirimiri area, and also made a detailed tour.
They went to Chirimiri OC, Anjan Hill, Baratunga Hill, Kurasia and NCPH UG. He reviewed the performance of the area with the core team and reviewed the efforts of the area to increase production. Stressed on further enhancement of production from opencast mines.
He reviewed the monsoon preparedness by the area and inquired about the proposed annual mine safety closing ceremony at Chirimiri.
NCPH mine of Chirimiri area has received National Mine Safety Award. The mines here are one of the longest-operating mines of SECL.
During the Chirimiri tour of Director Technical Operations, General Manager Chirmiri was accompanied by Mr Navneet Srivastava.
