Shri A K Sharma Area General Manager Congratulate All JCC Members
New Delhi: Jhanjra Project Colliery belonging to Jhanjra Area of Eastern Coalfields Ltd. on 06.03.2020 is the largest coal producing underground mechanised mine of India as it production touched 33,86,280 MTe in Financial Year 2019-10 (till 15.03.2020) by beating its own previous milestone of 33,76,155 Tes in the Financial Year 2018-19. The mine deploys state-of-the-art technology.
Shri P.S. Mishra, Chairman cum Managing Director, ECL along with Functional Directors of ECL has extended their
gratitude to all the Officers, JCC Members, Staffs and all stake holders for their exceptional performance for achieving such a feat on this day.
Shri A. K. Sharma, Area General Manager congratulated all JCC Members, Executives, Workers and other stake holders of Jhanjra Area on achievement of the milestone.General Manager also held a congratulating ceremony at Area Conference Hall to all JCC and HODs of Jhanjra Area on 16.03.2020.
Jhanjra Mine started production from the year 1985-86 with Russian Collaborations with a production of 85,055 tes. Since then it has achieved innumerable milestones. With a positive growth since last 5 years Jhanjra Project Colliery belonging to Jhanjra Area is committed to serve and set a nation-wide record by the achieving the same with an wisper.
