Hyderabad: Shri P. Radhakrishna, Director (Production) today assumed additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.
Shri Radhakrishna holds rich experience, spanning over 35 years, in various areas of Missile Production in the Company. He is an M. Tech. in Industrial Engineering and Management from JNTU, Hyderabad and a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Nagarjuna University in Andhra Pradesh.

Established in 1970, BDL is one of the leading manufacturers of defence equipment in India. The company is headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana and has four manufacturing units located in Telangana, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh.
BDL's product range includes missiles, torpedoes, underwater weapons, launchers, and countermeasures. The company has collaborated with various international partners such as MBDA, Thales, and Raytheon to develop and manufacture its products. BDL also provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for various defence equipment.
