Shimla- SJVN hosted 65th Northern Region Power Committee (NRPC) Meeting at Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh. Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN welcomed Sh. Mohammed Shayin (IAS), Chairperson, NRPC and representatives of the member organizations.
Sh. Nand Lal Sharma informed that the growth of Indian Power Sector in the recent times has been unparalled. This growth has brought in numerous new challenges & issues to manage due to energy being harnessed from various different sources.

The meeting was attended by Smt. Geeta Kapur, Director (Personnel), Sh. A.K. Singh, Director (Finance), Sh. Sushil Sharma, Director (Electrical), senior Officials from NLDC, NRLDC, Power PSUs viz NTPC, NHPC, THDC, BBMB, PGCIL and Generators, Transmission Utility, DISCOMS & Independent Power Producers of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh.
