New Delhi: SJVN Limited, a CPSE under the Ministry of Power, has placed their largest yet purchase order, worth Rs 62.18 Cr, on GeM for the supply of Turbine Runners. The equipment will be used for SJVN’s Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh.

The CPSE has demonstrated an impressive evolution in its procurement strategy over time. In FY21-22, their procurement amounted to Rs 66 Cr, and in FY22-23, it soared to Rs 80 Cr. As of 16th Oct'23, SVJN has already made procurement worth more than Rs 119 Cr in the current fiscal year.
