New Delhi: Chairman and Managing Director of Western Coalfields Limited Shri Manoj Kumar was on a tour of the Ballarpur area yesterday August 4. He inspected Sasti Expansion, Pauni-2, Gauri Deep, and Dhuptala open mines. Taking stock of the current situation, he discussed the future strategy in detail with the regional management and gave necessary directions to increase coal production and dispatch.
During this, he laid special emphasis on strict adherence to the parameters of quality and safety of coal.
Under the strong leadership of CMD Shri Manoj Kumar WCL is returning to normalcy. Team WCL is on course to achieve its annual coal production and dispatch target, beating the unusual situation triggered by torrential rains.
During his visit he was accompanied by the Regional General Manager of Ballarpur Region, Mr. Sabyasachi Dey, Mr. Tarun Kumar Srivastava, Technical Secretary to the Chairman-cum-Managing Director and other senior officers.
