Workshop on Kitchen Waste Management at NTPC Coal Mining HQ
New Delhi: As part of ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada initiative, NTPC Coal Mining HQ/ NML Ranchi today organised a Workshop on Kitchen Waste Management for Members Swayamsiddha Ladies Club (SSLC) in association with “Urban Kheti” (organisation working on waste management & organic farming).

It is seen that due to a lack of public awareness and infrastructure, recycling is not yet a mainstream process in urban communities. The need of the hour is to adapt better waste disposal habits for environment conservation.

The program was graced by Smt Rekha Jain, President, SSLC and members of Ladies Club. Shri Prakash Kumar, Shri Vinod Kumar, Managing Partners and Sabina Parveen, Project Coordinator, Urban Kheti were present on the occasion.
