New Delhi: ACME Solar Holdings Limited has issued a clarification in response to recent media reports suggesting that nearly 4 GW of solar capacity in Rajasthan is facing evacuation constraints due to transmission bottlenecks.

In a statement filed with stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, the company clarified that its 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan, developed through ACME Sikar Solar Private Limited, is fully operational and evacuating power without any restriction.

Project Has Confirmed Long-Term Transmission Access

ACME Solar stated that the project, which is connected to the Bikaner-II substation, has received effective Long-Term General Network Access (GNA) approval. As a result, the plant enjoys dedicated transmission capacity and is not impacted by daytime curtailment, as mentioned in the media report.

The clarification was issued following a Press Trust of India (PTI) report dated December 14, 2025, which claimed that solar projects totaling nearly 4,300 MW, including those developed by ACME, were facing full curtailment during daytime hours due to exhausted transmission margins.

Transmission Constraints Significantly Eased

ACME Solar further highlighted that with the commissioning of the Narela–Khetri transmission line, the Long-Term GNA for approximately 4,300 MW of solar projects in Rajasthan across various developers has become effective. This development has significantly eased transmission constraints in the region.
