On Friday, Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced that its subsidiary has successfully operationalised a 250 megawatt (MW) solar project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
AGEL stated in an exchange filing that the total operational renewable generation capacity of the company has increased to 11,916.1 MW as a result of the commissioning of this facility.
The solar power project of 250 MW at Bhimsar and Dwada in Jaisalmer has been operationalized by Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Limited (AGE24L), a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary.
"Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided at 11.50 a.m. on February 21, 2025, to operationalize the plant and commence power generation from February 22, 2025," according to the organization.
