Power Grid awards Mega Order for a Critical 400kV Transmission Line Project to Bajel Projects Ltd
Power Grid Corporation of India awards a mega 400kV transmission line project worth over Rs 300 crore to Bajel Projects Ltd for the Siwani-Jind line under the TBCB route.

State-owned Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has awarded a new work order to Bajel Projects Ltd. The order has been placed by PGCIL on behalf of its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), POWERGRID Siwani Transmission Limited (erstwhile Bikaner B Power Transmission Limited) (PSTL).
The new order falls within the Mega band (Rs. 300 Cr and above) and highlights the company's robust capabilities and continued contribution to strengthen India's national power grid.
The order consists of Transmission Line Package TL04 for the Siwani-Jind (PG) 400kV D/C (Quad) Transmission Line, which is associated with the Transmission System of REZ Ph -IV (Part 3: 6GW) (Bikaner Complex): Part B.
This project was awarded to POWERGRID under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route.
The scope of work for Bajel Projects includes the construction of a new 400kV Transmission Line spanning approximately 99 kilometers.
The project will be completed within an 18-month timeframe.
