Tata Power Renewable achieves highest-ever 752 MW solar installation in Q1 FY26
Mumbai, July 3, 2025: Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), one of India’s largest renewable energy companies and a part of The Tata Power Company Limited, has commissioned 752 MW of solar projects in the first quarter of FY26. This marks a record addition, rising 112% from 354 MW in the first quarter of FY25.

With the commissioning in Q1 FY26, TPREL’s total utility-scale operational capacity now reaches 5.6 GW, which includes 4.6 GW from solar and 1 GW from wind. The company also plans to add 1.7 GW of its own capacity during FY26, along with 1 GW from third-party projects.
Tata Power aims for a total operational capacity of 7.3 GW by the end of FY26, with solar capacity at 5.6 GW and wind capacity at 1.7 GW. Tata Power's renewable energy projects not only boost India’s clean energy capacity but also play a key role in supporting national energy security and sustainability goals.
