He played key role in identifying SSC’s for progressive indigenization/localisation in Kudankulam Nuclear Project expansion units 3-6 (LWR 1000MW each). In 2016, he established a group for procurement of the indigenized components of LWR. Since June 2022, as Executive Director (Procurement) he was associated with procurement of components required for existing and upcoming PHWR’s.
Shri Rajesh Veeraraghavan is appointed as Director (Technical) on the Board of NPCIL w.e.f. 27th June 2023.He is also a Member of the Board of Management of Heavy Water Board, Member of the Board of Management of Nuclear Fuel Complex.
