NEW DELHI . NTPC signed Tripartite Escrow Agreement with Coal Controller and State Bank of India at Coal Controller's Office, Kolkata recently for its Pakhri Barwadih Mine in Jharkhand. Dr. Sujoy Majumdar from Coal Controller office , Shri Thapar from SBI and Shri R. S. Rathee, General Manager(PB,CB&KD), NTPC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. This agreement is a final step to obtain permission for opening a coal mine.
