AAI Chairman Vipin Kumar reviewed Leh Airport
Leh, Ladakh: Yesterday, Chairman AAI, Sh. Vipin Kumar, accompanied by Member (Planning), Sh. Anil Kumar Gupta conducted a key visit to AAI’s Leh Airport, a strategically vital hub in India’s Aviation Network. The visit focused on reviewing the progress of major infrastructure development works, including the upcoming New Terminal Building and evaluating the operational efficiency of the airport.
During the inspection, Chairman AAI engaged with airport officials and Central Industrial Security Force - CISF personnel, emphasising the importance of accelerating all ongoing projects. He directed teams to ensure timely completion of projects by October 2025, with the goal of enhancing the airport’s capacity for safe, seamless and efficient passenger movement.
