Andhra Pradesh signs agreement with NTPC for UMPP project

NEW DELHI . NTPC Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company ltd and Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd for procurement of power to be generated from the 250 MW solar power plant, the first phase of the 1,000 MW ultra solar power project being set up by NTPC in Anatapur District in Andhra Pradesh.

The power is to be procured at Rs 6.16 per unit for 25 years.MINT
