New JV, Assam Valley Fertilizers and Chemical Co set up for Fertilizer Plant in Assam
A new JV company, AVFCCL, has been incorporated to set up the Namrup-IV Ammonia-Urea Complex in Assam with a 48-month completion target. The venture involves GoA, NFL, OIL, HURL, and BVFCL.

State-owned National Fertilizers Ltd has announced that after the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) which has been signed among Government of Assam (GoA), National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), Oil India Limited (OIL), Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) and Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), a JV company has been instituted.
The Joint Venture Company (JVC) has been incorporated on 25.07.2025 in the name of “Assam Valley Fertilizer And Chemical Company Limited” (AVFCCL).

Assam Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company Limited (AVFCCL) has been incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 25.07.2025. The authorized capital is around Rs 10 crores and paid-up capital is Rs 10 lakh. It is a 40:18:18:13:11 JV company among Government of India, NFL, OIL, HURL and BVFCL.
