Coal India Commissions 200 MW Solar Capacity at Khavda, Gujarat

New Delhi/Kolkata, July 16, 2026: Coal India Limited (CIL) has achieved a significant milestone in its renewable energy journey with the successful commissioning of 200 MW out of its 300 MW Solar Power Project at Khavda, Gujarat.

The company received the official commissioning certificate from Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) on 15th July 2026. This development was disclosed to the stock exchanges today as per Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
