Dr. Shyam Agrawal gets one-year extension as Independent Director of Indraprastha Gas Ltd

New Delhi: Indraprastha Gas Ltd has announced the exchanges that the company has given extension to Dr. Shyam Agrawal as Independent Director.
According to the filing, the Board of Directors, through resolution passed by circulation on December 05, 2025, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved the extension of tenure of Dr. Shyam Agrawal (DIN: 03516372) as an Independent Director of the Company for a period of 1 year with effect from December 06, 2025.
Shri Shyam Agrawal is a PhD (Law), LL.M., LL.B., M.A. (Economics) & FCS.

He made his presence felt across in many associations and organizations like the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Commerce of Industry, PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry, ASSOCHAM, CII, NFCG, INSOL International, INSOL India, SEBI, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, Indian Bank Association, ICAI, Institute of Directors, etc.
His noteworthy professional achievements include the fact that it is during his tenure-ship as President of ICSI that the ICSI marked its entry into the “Guinness Book of World Records” for conducting the Largest Taxation Lesson.
He also holds to his credit the honour of having held the position of International Secretary at the Company Secretaries International Association (CSIA).
