GAIL CMD reviewed ongoing natural gas pipeline project in Tamil Nadu

New Delhi: Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Chairman and Managing Dircetor of GAIL took a review of the ongoing Natural Gas pipeline project from Krishnagiri to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu on June 5th and 6th, 2024. He was accompanied by the Shri Deepak Gupta, Director (Projects), Shri A K Tripathi, ED (Projects), and other senior GAIL officials.
During the visit, CMD assessed of the construction progress. He emphasized the need for continuous follow-up with relevant authorities to secure pending permissions. Recognizing the national significance of the project, he encouraged all stakeholders to take the necessary steps to ensure timely completion.
Further, in celebration of World Environment Day on June 5th, Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta alongside other GAIL officials participated in a tree planting activity on the pipeline route.
