General Insurance Corporation gives one-year extension to Shri Sateesh N Bhat as Appointed Actuary

General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC-Re) has informed exchanges about the appointment of Shri Sateesh Bhat, Appointed Actuary (Non- Life) and Key Managerial Personnel of the Corporation, renewed for a period of 1 (one) year with effect from 20th January 2026.

Shri Sateesh N Bhat holds a B. Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Actuaries of India with specialization in General Insurance.

He has overall work experience of 35 years in the fields of electrical power generation, IT and Actuarial domains. In Actuarial, he has over 18 years of experience in retirements benefits and General Insurance. Prior joining GIC Re, he was Vice President, Actuarial at M/s Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Ltd, Mumbai.
