Goa Shipyard Limited Upgraded to Schedule ‘A’ CPSE by Government of India
New Delhi: In a landmark development, Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) has been upgraded from ‘Schedule B’ to ‘Schedule A’ category of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs).
The upgradation has been approved by the Department of Public Enterprises under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, on February 25, 2026.

The elevation to Schedule ‘A’ status marks a defining milestone in GSL’s journey of sustained financial performance, operational excellence and institutional growth.
