New Delhi: Given the rapid expansion of both internal and cross-border power system networks, along with the substantial increase in demand, ensuring reliability and security in the power system has become increasingly crucial for system operators.

India has deep linkages with Power Systems in Bhutan, and the two countries have been working together to strengthen their power grid connectivity. In order to bolster capacity-building efforts in Bhutan, GRID-INDIA organized a six-day training program from 17th July 2023 to 22nd July 2023 for Bhutan Power System Operators.

The programme was inaugurated by Shri Rajiv Kumar Porwal, Director (SO) and Shri S.C. Saxena, Executive Director (NLDC) of GRID-INDIA.
