Kolkata, 12 January 2026: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) has announced significant updates in its senior management team, effective 1 January 2026, as approved by its Board of Directors. The promotions recognize the officers’ leadership, technical expertise, and contributions to strategic naval projects.

Key Promotions:

  1. Shri M Venkatesh Murthy – promoted to Executive Director; previously CGM (CSB), with extensive experience in commercial shipbuilding, contracts, and defence procurement.

  2. Cmde Rajat Manchanda, IN (Retd.) – promoted to Executive Director; previously CGM (Planning – SVL & ASWSWC), with 28 years of experience in the Indian Navy and strategic project management.

  3. Cdr Manoj Kumar Gupta, IN (Retd.) – promoted to Chief General Manager (CC, HP & IP); previously GM overseeing contracts, hull planning, and in-plant operations.

  4. Lt Col Sanjay Anand (Retd.) – promoted to General Manager (Security, Fire & Official Language); responsible for company security, firefighting operations, and official language implementation.

  5. Cdr Harish Kumar, IN (Retd.) – promoted to General Manager (Regional Office, Delhi); leads liaison with MoD, Indian Navy, Army, and other government departments.

  6. Mr. Manas Kumar Pandey – promoted to General Manager (Main Works Unit – GRSE); brings 29 years of expertise in ship hull production, CNC operations, and robotic welding.

  7. Mr. Dilip Kumar Jagattar Singh – promoted to General Manager (DEP Ranchi Unit – GRSE); oversees diesel engine projects and operations at the Ranchi Unit.

These promotions reflect GRSE’s commitment to fostering leadership excellence and ensuring timely execution of critical naval and international projects.
