HUDCO under CSR Initiative Distributes Aids and Assistive Devices to Senior Citizens, Divyangjan
Tokhan Sahu, the Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), distributed assistive devices including motorized tricycles, regular tricycles, wheelchairs, walking sticks, behind-the-ear hearing aids, Sugamya canes, and other essential aids to senior citizens and individuals with disabilities (divyangjan) in Tifra, Bilaspur.
This initiative was part of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited's (HUDCO) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
As a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE), HUDCO has been actively working to provide assistive devices to senior citizens and persons with disabilities through the Association of the Physically Handicapped (ALIMCO) across 23 districts in 11 states.
This effort underscores HUDCO's commitment to enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens and divyangjan by promoting their mobility, independence, and overall well-being.
