Mr. Arvind Acharya: Strategic Visionary and Technology Advocate
Mr. Arvind Acharya, who played a pivotal role in shaping IndianOil’s corporate strategy, planning, and risk management framework, concludes his tenure after over three decades. He led multiple key departments including Corporate PAG, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Planning & ES, Corporate IS, BD, PPAC (on deputation), Rajasthan State Office, and Northern Regional Office. Known for his analytical rigor and forward-looking approach to technology adoption, Mr. Acharya leaves a lasting mark on IndianOil’s strategic direction.
Ms. Piyali Chakraborty: Pioneering HR Leadership
Ms. Piyali Chakraborty, the first woman Divisional HR Head in IndianOil’s history, retires after a career spanning 30 years. Joining IndianOil in 1993, she held key HR leadership roles across Haldia, Barauni, Gujarat Refineries, and Refineries HQ. Her focus on fostering industrial harmony, strengthening HR systems, and promoting digital, transparent processes has reshaped the Refineries Division’s human resources landscape. A mentor to many, she championed trust, inclusion, and employee well-being.
Dr. Alok Sharma: Innovator in R&D and Alternative Energy
Dr. Alok Sharma, Director (R&D), concludes his distinguished journey marked by pioneering contributions to India’s first Hydrocracker unit and research in Hydrogen, HCNG, Carbon Capture, Solar, Nanotechnology, Petrochemicals, Biotechnology, and Green Fuels. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, Dr. Sharma guided IndianOil’s R&D function, inspiring progress toward a sustainable and future-ready energy ecosystem.
Mr. M. Annadurai: Retail and Operations Leader
Mr. M. Annadurai, with over three and a half decades of service, has led diverse portfolios including Aviation, Sales, Retail, Supplies, and Operations. Serving across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, and the Marketing Head Office, he drove growth, strengthened operations, and enhanced customer experience. Known for his people-first approach and strategic insight, Mr. Annadurai leaves behind a lasting legacy in Retail Sales and State Leadership.
