NALCO Promotes Nine Senior Executives to Executive Director Positions
Odisha, 7 March 2026: In a significant move to strengthen its senior management team, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has promoted nine key executives to the position of Executive Director. The appointments, in line with Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) 2015, aim to bolster leadership across operations, marketing, HR, project execution, and logistics.
Key Promotions and Profiles

Shri Satyabadi Mishra – Promoted from CGM (CPP) to Executive Director. Shri Mishra has been with NALCO since 1988 and oversaw operations and maintenance of the Captive Power Plant and Utkal Coal Mine, Angul.

Shri Gautam Harichandan Mahapatra – Promoted from EPO-ED (Marketing). Joined NALCO in 1994, responsible for sales, marketing of aluminium and chemicals, and project/technological transformation initiatives.

Shri Ravi Manie – Previously CGM & Sr. TS to CMD, promoted to Executive Director. Key responsibilities included project execution and technological transformation.

Shri Asutosh Rath – Former EPO-ED (HR), promoted to Executive Director. Oversees HR, talent management, leadership development, industrial relations, CSR, and policy governance.

Shri Sachidananda Jena – Promoted from EPO-ED (S&P). Responsible for administration, operations, and maintenance of the Smelter & Power Complex, Angul.

Shri Sandeep Darbari – Former CGM (Marketing), promoted to Executive Director. Handles government coordination, parliamentary engagement, and sales of aluminium and alumina/chemicals in Northern India.

Shri Venkata Subba Rao Amperayani – Promoted from CGM (PF). Oversees port facility operations, bulk material handling, rail-port coordination, and logistics management.

Shri Amarendra Kumar Mishra – Former EPO-ED (M&R), promoted to Executive Director. Responsible for administration, operation, and maintenance of Mines & Refinery Complex, Damanjodi.

Shri Vedula Surendra Sai Anand – Promoted from EPO-ED (Project). Leads administration and execution of expansion projects at M&R Complex, Damanjodi.
