Shares of NLC India Ltd are in focus as the company has commissioned the first phase of commercial operation of the 300 MW Solar Power Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

According to the exchange filing, the company has informed us that the first phase of the “300 MW Solar Power Project” of the company, with a capacity of 52.83 MW, has been successfully commissioned and declared commercially operational at Barsingsar, Distt. Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The Commissioning Certificate for the same has been received from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited on 26th August, 2025.

The company, in addition to its conventional power generation capacity of 5,300 MW (including JV capacity of 1,660 MW), has established a robust renewable capability of 1,380.06 MW in solar energy, further reinforcing its commitment to a balanced and sustainable energy mix.

Combined, NLCIL’s installed capacity reaches 6,680 MW, energizing industries, supporting communities, and driving India toward a sustainable future.

Shares of NLC India Ltd are trading higher by 1.32% at Rs 235.61 at BSE.
