NTPC Bongaigaon adjudged as Best Quality Circle Unit of NTPC at 23rd NTPC Quality Circle Convention
The convention was inaugurated in the presence of Shri D.K Patel Director (HR), Shri Sital Kumar RED (ER-1), Shri AK Munda, ED (BE), Shri Arindam Sinha, BUH Kahalgaon, and other senior officials.
NTPC Bongaigaon adjudged as Best Quality Circle Unit of NTPC at 23rd NTPC Quality Circle Convention
NTPC Bongaigaon has been adjudged as the Best Quality Circle Unit of NTPC at the 23rd NTPC Quality Circle Convention organized by NTPC Kahalgaon during 9th-10th March,2022.
The convention saw presentations from 12 teams from different NTPC Stations on a wide range of topics covering all domains of business. The topic chosen by "Aqua Power" of NTPC Bongaigaon presented on the topic ‘Higher Conductivity of DM Make Up Water". Team Aqua Power consisted of Facilitator Shri Shyamal Banerjee, Ms. Anamika Dutta, Shri Jugal Medhi and Shri Apurbajyoti Das of Chemistry Deptt.

NTPC has expanded the concept of Quality Circles (QC) beyond the project plants and corporate structures. In alignment with NTPC's firm belief that knowledge strengthens the community; more than 30 quality circles are actively operating in identifying various community problems and providing viable solutions, in various villages near its stations.
QC members are given training on QC Techniques, communication skills and stage oration and encouraged to take part in state / national level QC competitions.
