NTPC Stock in Focus: Company commences commercial operation of 60 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project

Shares of NTPC Green surges high marginally as the company has announced that third and last part of the 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project under the contract issued by Gujarat Energy Development Agency has been declared commercial with effect from 16.04.2025.

As per the filing, the company stated that based on certificate dated 30.04.2025 issued by Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA), third and last part capacity of 60 MW out of 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited awarded under GUVNL/500 MW/Solar (Phase XII) tender, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 16.04.2025.

The first part capacity of 60 MW and second part capacity of 30 MW has already been declared on commercial operation w.e.f. 29.07.2024 and 11.12.2024 respectively.

Shares of NTPC Green are trading higher by 0.65% at Rs 101.20.
