NTPC Green approves changes in Key Managerial Personnel
New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy has announced some changes in the Board. The Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on Saturday, 10th May, 2025, has inter-alia, approved the following:
- Cessation of Shri Rajiv Gupta as Chief Executive Officer (Key Managerial Personnel), with effect from 10th May 2025.
- Appointment of Shri Sarit Maheshwari as Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, of the Company with effect from 10th May 2025.

Profile of Shri Sarit Maheshwari:
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in science (Mechanical Engineering) from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh; a Master’s degree in Power Generation Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and, degree of Master of Business Administration from Indra Gandhi National Open University. He has 35 years of experience in power sector, and prior to joining our Company, he was associated with NTPC as Head of Project Korba. Before joining as CEO, NGEL, he has held positions of CEO of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL and NTPC Rajasthan Green Energy Limited, a 74:26 joint venture with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited.
