NTPC Green Group's Capacity Crosses 7.4 GW Mark with New Solar Power in Gujarat
NTPC Green Energy Limited has commissioned a 25 MW solar project in Bhuj Gujarat raising its total renewable capacity to 7407.475 MW. The move strengthens India’s clean energy drive.

NEW DELHI: Sep 25, 2025, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), the renewable energy branch of NTPC, announced on Thursday that a new 25 MW solar project in Bhuj, Gujarat, is now operational. This boost significantly adds to the company's green energy efforts.
The new capacity became operational on September 27, 2025. This addition is part of a larger 37.5 MW solar project under Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd. Ayana is fully owned by the joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited (ONGPL), which is a 50:50 partnership between NGEL and ONGC Green Limited.

The Bhuj project, located in a state known for its high solar potential, is an important step in enhancing the group's position in the renewable energy sector of the western region.
