NTPC Issues Errata for Methanol Procurement Tender at Kayamkulam Plant

NTPC Limited, a leading Government of India Enterprise, has issued an important Errata (No. 1) regarding the procurement of Methanol for its Kayamkulam Gas Turbine (GT) project. The tender is part of NTPC's strategic move to demonstrate the feasibility of Methanol firing, a cleaner alternative fuel, in its existing power generation infrastructure.

Key Bidding Terms

1. Domestic Competitive Bidding: The tender is open on a Domestic Competitive Bidding basis.

2. Land Border Restrictions: Any bidder from a country sharing a land border with India must be registered with the Competent Authority, unless the country receives a line of credit from the Government of India.
