Kerala: The 92 MW Floating Solar Power Project was commissioned at NTPC Kayamkulam, Kerala. It is now the largest floating solar power plant under operation in the country.  

With the commissioning of this plant, the NTPC Group installed Renewable Energy capacity has crossed 2 GW.

The Power PSU NTPC in April announced in its statement the commercial operation of 22 megawatts of floating solar capacity at Kayamkulam, Kerala. The capacity, which began commercial operation is part of its 92 MW Kayamkulam floating solar PV project.
