Energy Maharatna ONGC celebrated its 70th Foundation Day at our Dehradun Headquarters in the distinguished presence of Chairman & CEO Arun Kumar Singh and the Board of Directors.
On ONGC’s 70th Foundation Day ‘At Home’ celebrations, Chairman ONGC stood before a hall filled with the heartbeat of ONGC, the Forever ONGCians. With gratitude in his voice, he honoured those who built the foundation of our energy journey and continue to inspire the generations that follow.
He reflected on Mumbai High, our steadfast breadwinner, and the need to seek “something big” in an era where deep-water exploration is costly and challenges are steeper. Yet, his message was clear: with resilience, innovation, and unity, ONGC will continue to power India’s energy security.
On 14th August 2025, the Energy Maharatna ONGC celebrated its 70th Foundation Day at our Dehradun Headquarters in the distinguished presence of Chairman & CEO Arun Kumar Singh and the Board of Directors.
The day began with solemn tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial, honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who built our legacy. The flag symbolising the spirit of ONGC soared high over our campus, followed by a pledge, administered by the Chairman & CEO, and the Director (Production), ONGC reaffirming our resolve to serve with integrity, excellence, and responsibility.

A spirited walkathon symbolised our energy in action, while tree plantation drives embodied our pledge to nurture a greener tomorrow. Each step, each sapling, was a promise to the nation, to sustainability, and to the generations ahead.
