PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has been selected as Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for the purpose of selection of Bidder as Transmission Service Provider (TSP) to establish the abovementioned transmission system through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process.

Government-backed Power Finance Corporation has disclosed through exchange filing that three Transmission Power Projects are incorporated as wholly owned Subsidiaries of PFC Consulting Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited), Mandsaur I Re Transmission Limited, Vindhyachal Varanasi Transmission Limited, and Morena I SEZ Transmission Limited.

In the exchange filing, the company stated that it is to inform that the following Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) Companies have been incorporated as wholly owned subsidiaries of PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) (a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC):

  1. Mandsaur I RE Transmission Ltd: For development of "Augmentation of transformation capacity and implementation of line bays at Mandsaur for RE Interconnection.
  2. Vindhayachal Varanasi Transmission Ltd: For development of "Inter-regional (NR-WR) Transmission System strengthening to relieve the loading of 765 kV Vindhyachal-Varanasi D/c line".
  3. Morena I SEZ Transmission Ltd: For development of "Transmission system for Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Morena SEZ in Madhya Pradesh-Phase I (2500 MW)".
