Railway Board Approves Deputation of IRSE Officer Milan Kumar Singh to IRCON
New Delhi: The Railway Board under the Ministry of Railways has approved the deputation of Shri Milan Kumar Singh, an Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer, to IRCON International Limited (IRCON).
According to an official order issued by the Railway Board, Shri Milan Kumar Singh, presently serving as ADRM/Lumding under the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), has been selected for appointment as Chief General Manager/Civil at the prestigious Sivok-Rangpo Rail Project in Siliguri, West Bengal.
The deputation will be on usual terms, including parent pay plus deputation allowance, for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment remains subject to IRCON’s exemption from the rule of immediate absorption.
The Railway Board has directed Northeast Frontier Railway authorities to relieve the officer at the earliest so that he can assume his new responsibilities at IRCON. The date of relief is also to be communicated to the Railway Board.

The Sivok-Rangpo Rail Project is considered a strategically significant railway infrastructure initiative aimed at improving rail connectivity to Sikkim and strengthening transportation infrastructure in the northeastern region of India.
