New Delhi, June 6, 2026: Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has issued a Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of a 70 MW ISTS-connected ground-mounted Solar PV power project paired with a 25 MW/50 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Andhra Pradesh.

The project will be developed at Ramagiri in Sri Sathya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh, under Package 1: Solar + BESS.

The tender, numbered SECI/C&P/OP/11/0002/26-27, is part of India's ongoing efforts to strengthen renewable energy infrastructure and enhance grid reliability through integrated energy storage solutions.

 

Complete EPC and Long-Term Maintenance Scope

The selected bidder will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the project, including:

  • Design and engineering

  • Supply of equipment

  • Construction and erection

  • Testing and commissioning

  • Operation and maintenance of the solar-plus-storage facility

The project combines utility-scale solar generation with battery storage, enabling better power management and improved integration of renewable energy into the national grid.

Tender Documents Available Online

According to SECI, the bidding documents are expected to be available for online download from June 6, 2026, through multiple government procurement platforms, including:

  • Bharat Electronic Tender Portal

  • Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP)

  • SECI website

Interested bidders can access and download the official tender documents after registering and logging into the electronic tender portal using their authorized credentials.

Only bidders who download the official tender documents through the designated portal will be eligible to submit their bids.

The tender reflects India's growing focus on combining renewable energy projects with battery storage systems to support round-the-clock clean power supply and improve grid stability.
