BCPL Railway Infra signs Rs 325.80 million agreement

Kolkata, October 28, 2025: BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited is delighted to update its esteemed stakeholders that the Company has signed an agreement for execution of a 25 KV Overhead Electrification (OHE) modification work from Gurmura to Mahadia and the Shakti Nagar section of Dhanbad Division of East Coast Railway under Rail Vikas Nigam Limited.

This contract agreement has been received for the work of “Design, Supply(except Galvanized Steel structures and all type of conductors-Feeder Wire, BEC, AEC), Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 2x25KV feeder line along the track With 25KV OHE modification works to meet 3000 MT loading target for UP & DN line of Gurmura (GMX) (Excl.) (KM 119.16) to Mahadia (MHDA) (KM194.63) & Shakti Nagar (SKTN) (KM32.13) Section of Dhanbad Division under E.C. Railway (Total 110/220 RKM/TKM)” under Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. The total project cost comprises of Rs. 325.80 million and it is expected to be executed over a period of 16 months.

Commenting on the same, Mr. Aparesh Nandi, Chairman, said, "We at BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited are pleased to inform our stakeholders on our recent order intake for modification of the 25KV OHE System from Gurmura to Mahadia and Shakti Nagar section of Dhanbad Division of East Coast Railway under Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. The value of this order is Rs.325.80 million and we are quite optimistic about the pipeline of orders in the coming months, in near future also.”
