Central Railway has announced a Mega Block on 30 November 2025 to perform important maintenance on Mumbai’s suburban network. This block will impact Main Line, Harbour Line, and Trans-Harbour services for several hours on Sunday.

On the Main Line, the UP and DOWN slow tracks between CSMT and Vidyavihar will close from 10:55 am to 3:55 pm. During this time, many slow trains will run on the fast line and will stop at major stations like Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion, and Kurla. Some UP trains from Ghatkopar will also be redirected to the fast line.

Harbour Line services between Panvel and Vashi will be cancelled from 11:05 am to 4:05 pm. Trains from Panvel to CSMT and from CSMT to Belapur/Panvel will not operate during these hours. On the Trans-Harbour Line, trains between Panvel and Thane will also be cancelled during the maintenance period. However, services will continue between Thane and Vashi/Nerul. The Port Line will run as scheduled.

Railway officials stated that these Mega Blocks are necessary to keep the system safe and in good condition. Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the Railway Administration during the block.
