Central Railways awards five contracts worth Rs 762.56 crore for KAVACH
HBL Engineering Limited secured the contract for the provisions of KAVACH across 413 stations, covering 3900 km.

New Delhi: The Central Railway has awarded 5 (five) letters of acceptance to HBL Power Systems Limited (now HBL Engineering Limited) for the provision of the Kavach. The Total value of the five contracts (inclusive of 18% GST) is Rs. 762.56 Crores. The Time needed to complete each contract is 18 months.
The company has secured the contract for the provisions of KAVACH across 413 stations, covering 3900 km. The share price of the company had been closed at Rs 472.15, rising by 1.40% on NSE on 28th March 2025.
