The official said that this initiative will provide benefits to Western Railways in earning non-fare revenue. This contract will be given to an agency, which will talk to the passengers in this regard. On receiving an inquiry or call, the concerned company will arrange for a porter at the station. This arrangement is being done at those stations where express trains stop, but not many people board them. There is also no arrangement for a porter at those stations.

Railway officials believe that this service can be implemented at other stations as well based on the response of the passengers. Passengers can give their feedback through CatsApp so that this service can be further improved.
